​​​​I began my dog grooming journey in 2013 and have been running a small business from home since 2022, after working in busy salons.

Since my first visit to Crufts as a groomer I noticed the lack of attractive and flattering work wear, especially for the curvier girl.

I was eager to express that part of my creative personality at work... whilst also wanting to feel comfortable and not look like I'm wearing a tent!

I remember leaving feeling disappointed,
This was 2016, and on the train on the way home I said to my boss; we should definitely decorate or design some tunics for us to feel good at work...
This lit something in me and ever since I have strived to realise that dream.

I have trialled and sourced the best material....
hair resistant and fast drying with a high quality finish, staying professional but funky.

I believe everyone is an individual SHAPE 
not a size,
This is the reason I have produced womens single sizes.... from 6 to 32, with a longer 'Tall' option and a 'Curve' range

I have adapted and created measurements exclusive to Skyla's, based around the size 16, from my own personal measurements.

This project has been my passion, alongside my grooming business for many years and I am excited to have four seasonal themed tunics available as well as mens.
I have endless ideas for the future of Skyla's 🙂
